Door glass
A broken side window before the next storm
Most side windows we replace around Orlando were broken in a theft, often in a hotel or theme-park-area garage, an apartment lot near UCF or outside a gym. Door glass is tempered, so it bursts into small cubes that drop inside the door and scatter over the seats. We put in the new window and vacuum the loose glass out of the door and the cabin.
Afternoon rain is the real hurry in Central Florida. Until we get there, keep the car under cover if you can, and tape heavy plastic over the opening from the outside. It will keep a shower out on a short drive, but it can tear loose on the interstate. If you were away from home, file the police report where it happened; that report is what your insurer usually asks for.
What we replace
- Front and rear door windows on cars, SUVs, minivans and pickups
- A photo of the opening and the door sticker, sent by text to (877) 350-5962, helps us bring the right glass
Back glass
Rear window and hatch glass
Back glass on a car is tempered like a side window and carries the defroster grid, and on many models an antenna as well. When it breaks, it usually goes all at once. We fit the new glass, plug the defroster and antenna leads back in, and clear the shards out of the trunk or cargo area.
Minivans and SUVs, common in Orlando's family traffic, use hatch glass that differs by trim, and a pickup's rear slider is a part of its own. Send the year, make, model and body style for an exact quote.
Sunroof glass
Sunroof panels and panoramic roofs
We replace the glass in tilting sunroofs and the big fixed panels of panoramic roofs, including the glass roofs on many electric cars. During hurricane season this is often branch damage from a parked car under a live oak.
If the glass is whole but the roof will not open or close, the fault is in the motor or the track, and that needs a sunroof mechanic. Sunroof glass takes your policy's normal deductible in Florida, and we go over the policy with you before scheduling.
Fleet
Work vehicles across Central Florida
Service vans, delivery vehicles and contractor trucks rack up miles on I-4, the toll roads and US 27, where glass takes a beating. We replace windshields and side glass at your yard, your office lot or the job site, so the vehicle is not parked at a shop for the day. Send a list of vehicles and where each one parks, and we quote them one by one.

Places we work around Orlando
Home driveways and garages
A garage is the best spot in the rainy season.
Apartment communities
Around UCF, Kirkman Road and the US 192 corridor: send the gate code and any vendor rules from the leasing office.
Gated and HOA neighborhoods
Many master-planned communities ask vendors to be on a guest list. Tell us how yours works.
Office lots and garages
Lake Mary and Maitland office parks, the medical campuses at Lake Nona, downtown garages: share the level and any height limit.
Resorts and vacation rentals
Check with the property that vendor work is allowed in its lot, then send us the parking area.
We do not install in rain. If storms are headed your way, we call to move the appointment.
Other glass questions in Orlando
Not sure which piece of glass it is? Text a photo to (877) 350-5962 or call (407) 305-3829.
Do you replace the small fixed window near the back pillar?
No. That is quarter glass, and we no longer replace it. We replace windshields, door windows, back glass and sunroof glass.
My window is stuck down but not broken. Can you help?
Only if the glass itself is broken. A failed motor or regulator is a mechanical repair, and we do not do that work.
Does the Florida windshield deductible rule cover a side window or back glass?
No. Fla. Stat. § 627.7288 covers windshield damage only. Door, rear and sunroof glass can be covered under comprehensive, with your policy's normal deductible.
Will the rear defroster work after you replace the back glass?
Yes. Replacement back glass comes with the heating lines already printed on it. Before leaving, the technician plugs those lines in, along with the antenna wire if your car has one, and turns the defroster on to check it. Our lifetime workmanship warranty covers our workmanship and defects in the glass we install, for as long as you own the vehicle.
